Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Lot Attendant and be the vital link in maintaining a pristine, organized, and welcoming vehicle lot. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for customer delivery. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every visitor and customer. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in vehicle care, customer service, and automotive maintenance within a fast-paced environment. Duties Safely operate standard passenger cars and light vehicles around the lot, ensuring smooth traffic flow and proper parking arrangements Perform exterior vehicle washing, including cleaning windows, tires, and body panels using appropriate equipment and techniques Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing to restore shine and remove minor imperfections using automotive buffers and polishing tools Detail vehicle interiors by vacuuming carpets, cleaning upholstery, wiping down surfaces, and applying protective treatments to maintain cleanliness and presentation Use cleaning equipment effectively to maintain the overall appearance of the lot, including janitorial tasks such as trash removal and surface cleaning Assist with window tinting applications when required, ensuring proper installation without damage or imperfections Heavy lifting of vehicles or equipment may be necessary; follow safe work practices at all times to prevent injury or damage Qualifications Experience operating standard passenger cars and manual transmission vehicles with confidence and safety awareness Knowledge of safe work practices related to vehicle handling, cleaning procedures, and equipment use Prior auto detailing or auto wash experience preferred; familiarity with vehicle paint correction, buffing, and interior detailing is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and team members Experience with automotive buffers, cleaning equipment, or custodial work enhances your candidacy Basic understanding of window tinting techniques is advantageous but not mandatory This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a professional automotive environment while honing their skills in vehicle maintenance and customer service.
