Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Lead Bell/Valet Attendant serves as the shift leader for the Bell/Valet team, ensuring exceptional guest arrival and departure experience while maintaining Forbes Five-Star service standards. This position provides day-to-day leadership, training, coaching, and operational support for Bell/Valet Attendants while actively performing all guest service functions, including valet parking guest vehicles, luggage assistance, room deliveries, house car transportation, and guest escorts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Serve as shift lead for Bell/Valet Attendants during assigned shifts. Assist with daily deployment of staff and assign responsibilities based on operational needs. Monitor team preperformance and provide real-time coaching. Monitor grooming standards and provide real-time coaching. Assist in training new service professionals. Serve as a role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviors and setting high standards. Greet guests and provide Forbes Five-Star service. Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles. Assist with luggage handling, storage, transportation, and delivery. Escort guests to guestrooms and provide resort information. Conduct room drops and deliver amenities, packages, and special requests. Drive resort Lexus house cars in accordance with resort vehicle standards. Support VIP arrivals and departures. Maintain Bell Stand, Porte Cochere, valet areas, closets, bell carts, and house cars to cleanliness and condition standards. Complete required logs and documentation. Ensure compliance with all safety and driving policies. This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions; a service professional may perform other duties assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Must be 18 years of age or older. High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 years minimum in a 5 Star or 5 Diamond luxury hotel preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Publisher, Word, Excel, Outlook required.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have exceptional interpersonal, clear verbal and written communication skills. Second language is a plus. Must hold a valid US driver's license. Candidate must have attention to detail, be able to multi-task, must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, experience handling customer service issues and be a team player. Position requires flexibility in scheduling, must be able to work AM/PM, weekends & holidays.
