Job Description
Overview Outgoing and fan-friendly individuals are needed to become members of the Chartway Arena Parking Staff. The Chartway Arena Parking Attendant provides excellent customer service to the arena guests and is often the first person our shows and premium guests connect with upon arrival. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly and professionally with peers and guests and have the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. The Parking Attendant position requires the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until October 30, 2026. Responsibilities Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Set up assigned parking areas as instructed by the Parking Supervisor. Standing in traffic to direct vehicles into and out of parking areas. Verifies customers have the proper parking pass for VIP parking areas. Perform vehicle counts on location throughout shift to ensure garage does not overfill available spaces. Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed. Maintain equipment and any general maintenance tasks as assigned by Supervisor. Immediately report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to Supervisor. Always communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates. Communicate with guests who need directions on where to park and any questions they might have Qualifications Prior customer service experience (entry-level) preferred. Must have a positive and professional attitude and must possess outstanding communication skills. Must be able to deal with uncooperative and/or intoxicated guests. Required to work autonomously as well as in a team setting in a respectful and courteous manner. Requires attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing and high-pressure situations. Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations. Must be able to work in various weather conditions. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Aptitude to follow verbal/written directions. Capability to show up to work on time as required. Must possess a valid Driver's license.
