This is an important support position within our service operation. Our lot attendants help keep vehicles, people, and processes moving throughout the day. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays productive without needing constant direction, and is willing to jump in wherever needed. If you enjoy staying busy, working around cars, and being part of a fast-paced team, this could be a great fit. Responsibilities Move customer vehicles safely throughout the dealership and service department Stage vehicles for technicians and service advisors Retrieve vehicles promptly when customers arrive for pickup Maintain organization of the service parking and vehicle staging areas Wash and vacuum customer vehicles as needed Assist with keeping the service drive clean, organized, and professional Help manage the flow and organization of dealership rental/loaner vehicles Check vehicles in and out as directed by the service team Assist with fuel runs and other dealership errands when needed Help technicians and advisors locate vehicles quickly Maintain cleanliness of shop, service drive, parking, and common work areas Perform basic facility and grounds cleanup as needed Report vehicle damage or other concerns immediately to management Assist the Service Department with other duties as needed What We're Looking For We aren't just looking for someone to park cars. We're looking for someone who becomes a reliable part of the service team.
The ideal candidate is:
Dependable and on time Self-motivated and able to stay productive Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to take direction and work as part of a team Respectful of customer vehicles and dealership property Willing to work indoors and outdoors in typical Pacific Northwest weather Able to safely operate both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles Comfortable being on their feet and physically active throughout the day Requirements Valid driver's license Acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. when necessary Ability to pass applicable pre-employment requirements Previous dealership, automotive, detailing, or lot attendant experience is helpful but not required Why Tacoma Nissan?
