Job Description
Pro Shop Attendant Lake Wisconsin Country Club Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal Position Overview The Pro Shop Attendant is a key member of the golf operations team and serves as one of the primary points of contact for members and guests. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while supporting the daily operations of the golf shop, practice facilities, and cart operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and professional environment. Helping the guest comes first—every shift, every interaction.
Core Responsibilities:
Member & Guest Experience Provide a warm, professional welcome to all members and guests Assist with check-in, tee times, and general golf-related questions Communicate daily course conditions and operational information clearly Resolve minor issues independently and escalate concerns when needed Contribute to a positive, service-driven culture in the shop Golf Shop & Daily Operations Support opening and closing procedures to ensure smooth daily operations Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing pro shop Ensure essential items (scorecards, tees, pencils, towels, refreshments) are consistently available Assist with basic merchandising, folding, and product presentation Monitor and support cart and practice-area readiness Handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately and responsibly Facility & Team Support Work collaboratively with golf staff, cart attendants, and beverage cart staff Help ensure carts, range areas, and guest touchpoints are properly prepared Communicate effectively during shift transitions to maintain continuity Follow established procedures for security, cash handling, and equipment use Professional Standards & Expectations Maintain a clean, professional appearance in accordance with club standards Arrive on time and be prepared to work scheduled shifts Demonstrate accountability, reliability, and attention to detail Follow all club policies and procedures consistently Represent Lake Wisconsin Country Club with professionalism at all times Skills & Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling cash and POS systems (training provided) Golf knowledge is helpful but not required Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed What Success Looks Like Members and guests feel welcomed and well-assisted during every visit The pro shop is consistently clean, organized, and professionally presented Daily operations run smoothly with minimal issues or handoffs Strong communication and teamwork with fellow staff Positive feedback from members, guests, and supervisorsPay:
