Job Description
Cabell Huntington Hospital seeks a full-time Valet Supervisor. Please see the primary job duties below: The Valet Supervisor must lead, direct and oversee valet operations on a daily basis. Maintain and coordinate scheduling on a daily basis for Valet employees.
Responsible for monitoring traffic flow, parking of guest's cars, issuing valet tickets and maintaining security of valet keys at all times; facilitate guest's requests to the Guest Relations Representative. Responsible for developing client relations in providing friendly and professional service to all guests. Must provide conflict resolution when necessary.
Understand all policies, procedures, and standards regarding parking at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Ensure valet parking is opened and closed according to policy.
Provide guidance to all team members.
Before taking a vehicle, conduct a visual check of the vehicle and document any vehicle damage.
Provide instructions to guests on how to check and claim the vehicle; provide directions to the CHH facilities in a friendly, upbeat manner.
Participate on committees as directed.
Maintain cleanliness of CHH entrances - call housekeeping when trash needs emptied and sweep trash.
Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
Accurately complete all required paperwork for the shift.
Additional duties as assigned. Possess a valid Operators License
A clean criminal and motor vehicle record
Meet Hospital Insurance Carrier requirements Past experience in valet services, customer service and hospitality industry is preferred. Possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to drive automatic, standard shift and electric vehicles. Basic First Aid experience preferred.
