Job Description
The opportunity Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time and part-time Valets to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As a Valet, you are the first interaction with guests upon their arrival, so a great impression is key. You will greet and assist guests in a positive, courteous manner, park and retrieve guest vehicles, and adhere to department operational standards. Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn't include any potential tipped earnings. What will you do? Explain the valet payment process; issue guests customer claim and final exit release checks, also ensuring the final claim check corresponds with written information Open and inspect the vehicles for damage prior to parking, noting all damage Park and secure the vehicle, ensuring doors and windows are locked and closed Fill out and affix key tag to guest key; turn tagged keys to the key room window, immediately after parking guest's vehicle Ability to drive a manual vehicle Retrieve the vehicle in a safe and timely manner More about you No experience necessary, training provided Must be 21 years of age Hold a valid driver's license Physical requirements Ability to walk and stand for the duration of shift, as well as be able to lift 25 pounds Manual dexterity sufficient to lock and unlock cars and drive, as well as stand, crouch, and climb to enter vehicles Sufficient vision for driving Exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions in all seasons Shift details Days Weekends Holidays M-F 8hr shift OT as needed Evenings as needed
