Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Childcare Van Driver/ School Age Teacher to join our team, providing safe and reliable transportation for children, as well as a fun afternoon classroom. This role involves operating a Ford Transit Van, ensuring the safety and comfort of young passengers while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for working with children, and the ability to respond quickly to traffic changes and emergency situations. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on our facilities daily routines within the classroom, while maintaining high standards of transportation safety when its time.
Morning Shift:
•7:30-8 Van driving
Afternoon Shift:
•2:00-4:00 Van Driving•4:00-6:00 Afternoon School age teacher Responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized vehicle environment, ensuring safety equipment such as first aid kits and emergency stop procedures are in place and functional. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, school staff, and team members during daily shift. Respond promptly to traffic changes or route adjustments, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Follow emergency response procedures for transportation incidents or accidents, including CPR if necessary. Be willing to be CPR certified. This will be a paid training through the facility. Experience Prior experience driving driving children is highly desired. Must be 21 years or older High school diploma or higher education. Proven ability to work with children in childcare or educational settings. Knowledge of traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and transportation safety regulations. Certification in first aid (including CPR) and emergency response procedures is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage student discipline effectively. Willing to complete facility training before driving/ working within a classroom setting.

From $12.00 per hour
