This is a part-time evening position, typically scheduled from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM , with hours varying on event days. Shifts would be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Must have Weekend Availability. The primary responsibility of this position is providing safe and reliable transportation for hotel guests. During periods when shuttle service is not needed or ride requests are slow, team members will assist with Houseman duties throughout the hotel to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. ResponsibilitiesShuttle Driver Duties (Primary Responsibility) Safely transport hotel guests to and from designated locations using an 11-passenger shuttle van. Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive guest experience. Assist guests with luggage and transportation needs as needed. Maintain communication with hotel staff regarding guest requests and shuttle schedules. Ensure the shuttle vehicle is clean, fueled, and ready for operation. Provide guests with information about local attractions, restaurants, shopping, entertainment venues, and popular destinations in Glendale. Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies. Houseman Duties (During Shuttle Downtime) When shuttle demand is low, the Shuttle Driver will assist with the following hotel operations: Remove trash from public areas and designated hotel locations. Clean, organize, and restock the pool area. Vacuum and mop floors throughout the property. Clean and maintain public restrooms. Deliver guest-requested items to guest rooms promptly and professionally. Assist housekeeping and front desk teams as needed. Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in all public areas. Complete additional duties assigned by management to support hotel operations. Qualifications Valid driver's license required. Clean driving record required. Ability to pass a background check. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift. Knowledge of Glendale attractions, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment venues is highly preferred. Hospitality experience is a plus but not required. What We're Looking For A team player who understands that guest service comes first.
