The DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Convention Center is seeking an energetic and safety-conscious Shuttle Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for transporting passengers and goods efficiently and securely across designated routes. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest safety standards. Whether driving a shuttle, bus, or limousine, your expertise will ensure a smooth, reliable experience for all riders. Responsibilities Safely operate shuttle vehicles, buses, or limousines along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety at all times Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Communicate clearly with passengers and team members to provide route updates, schedule information, and respond to inquiries Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading cargo or luggage with proper technique Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance needs Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure passenger well-being Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in shuttle driving, bus driving, or limousine service preferred Proven delivery driver experience or commercial driving background is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when required Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety Experience with paratransit services or school bus driving is a plus but not mandatory Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Join us in delivering safe, reliable transportation while providing outstanding service!
