Position Summary:
Responsible for the delivery of materials to our customers in a safe and timely manner. Daily maintenance of trucks and equipment are required as it is a direct reflection of the company's image, safety comes first. Skills Oral Communication Skills Math Aptitude Written Communication Skills Organization Interpersonal Skills Time Management Knowledge of chemicals Safety Precautions Customer Service Physical Dexterity Education/Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Class C license required Experience on some touch freight and secure freight by hand Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (safety sensitive position). Basic knowledge of safety equipment and safety procedures. Physical Demands The position requires pushing, pulling, and lifting materials not exceeding 50 pounds. Any workload exceeding 51-60 pounds will require assistance. Requires grasping, writing, standing, Reaching, sitting, lifting, squatting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with employees, clients, vendors, and the general public. Must have the ability to hear warning horns or sirens. Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near and far visions. Requires manual and finger dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Working Conditions The position requires one to work Monday through Friday and with a set schedule of hours to meet the shifting needs of the Company.
