Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and dedicated School Shuttle Driver to join our team and ensure the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school. If you have a valid driver's license, enjoy working with children, and take pride in safety and reliability, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a school van to transport students between the school and train station. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Ensure students' safety while entering, riding, and exiting the vehicle. Maintain a clean and well-functioning shuttle by performing routine checks and reporting any maintenance needs. Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff to create a welcoming environment. Follow assigned routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary for traffic or road conditions. Assist young children and students with special needs as required. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and maintenance logs.
Requirements:
Proven experience in driving larger passenger vehicles (preferred). Clean driving record with no history of major violations. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor. Strong communication skills and a commitment to student safety.
Schedule:
Hours of operation - Approx. 7:15am-9:15am, and 1:30pm-3:30pm AM & PM shifts available -Approx 2 hours each How to
