This role involves operating specialized vehicles to transport clients to various destinations, ensuring their comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and a commitment to maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness. Experience in shuttle driving, delivery, bus driving, or commercial driving is highly valued, along with the ability to handle heavy lifting and perform routine vehicle maintenance. Responsibilities Safely operate wheelchair accessible vans and other specialized vehicles for client transportation. Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and securing mobility devices. Ensure timely pickup and drop-off schedules while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, brakes, tires, and accessibility equipment. Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety and comfort for passengers. Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate routes and address any issues promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations. Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage as needed. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting passengers or handling equipment. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines to identify potential issues early. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
