Overview We are seeking a motivated and responsible School Van Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school and related activities. Your dedication to safety, excellent customer service, and adherence to traffic laws will help create a positive and secure environment for our students every day. Responsibilities Safely operate school vans and transit vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and transportation safety regulations Transport students to and from school, extracurricular activities, and special events with punctuality and care Follow emergency response procedures for transportation incidents. Maintain clear communication with school staff, parents, and dispatchers regarding route updates or delays Conduct vehicle inspections before each shift to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly Manage student behavior using positive discipline techniques while ensuring passenger safety at all times Experience Proven experience driving buses, school vans, or transit vehicles with a clean driving record Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations applicable to school transportation Experience working with children or in educational environments is highly preferred Strong communication skills Familiarity with behavior management techniques and student discipline policies is advantageous Join our team to make a meaningful difference in students' daily lives!
