Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vehicles, including taxis, shuttle buses, limousines, and passenger vans, adhering strictly to traffic laws and transportation regulations. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to reach destinations promptly and optimize routes for fuel efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and addressing any inquiries or special requests professionally. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal functioning and safety standards are met. Communicate clearly with clients regarding pick-up times, routes, and any delays while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Comply with all state transportation regulations and company policies related to driver licensing, safety protocols, and operational procedures. Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, such as loading or unloading luggage or equipment during deliveries or shuttle services. Document trips accurately through logs or digital systems, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or maintenance needs. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or shuttle operator with a strong understanding of local driving routes. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and traffic management systems to ensure efficient route planning. Experience operating various passenger vehicles such as taxis, limousines, passenger vans, or shuttle buses; medical transportation experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and coordination with dispatch teams. Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to passenger vehicles. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing luggage or cargo loads. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle diverse client needs professionally.
