Duties:

• Safely operate a shuttle bus or van to transport passengers and/or students to and from designated locations for based on assigned location.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle if needed, including those with special needs and senior citizens.
• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and timely
• Communicate effectively with passengers, answering questions and providing information about routes and schedules
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition
• Report any maintenance needs, mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, including regular cleaning and disinfecting

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Commercial driving experience preferred, such as paratransit or school bus driving
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Familiarity with local roads, routes, and landmarks is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

$17.50
