As a School Van Driver, you will play a key role in fostering a positive transportation experience while maintaining strict safety standards. 1-2 hours AM to school 1-2 hours PM from school Duties Safely operate school vans and paratransit vehicles according to all traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations Transport students to and from school, extracurricular activities, and special events promptly and responsibly Assist students with disabilities or those requiring wheelchair assistance, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify mechanical condition, cleanliness, and safety equipment functionality Maintain clear communication with school staff, parents, and dispatchers regarding route updates or delays Manage student behavior by applying appropriate behavior management techniques while ensuring passenger discipline and safety Requirements Valid commercial driver's license.
