Duties Safely operate a company-provided cargo van to deliver goods to various locations, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or route management tools to optimize time and fuel efficiency Assist with warehouse operations including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery logs Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance schedules Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and manual handling activities in company systems Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with warehouse experience or commercial driving background involving box trucks or vans Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices for commercial vehicles Ability to lift heavy loads safely, often involving manual handling of boxes or equipment such as pallet jacks Strong organizational skills for route planning and inventory management using mobile devices or handheld scanners Experience operating material handling equipment like pallet jacks is desirable but not mandatory Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and professional interaction during deliveries This role offers an energetic environment where your driving skills and warehouse knowledge will directly impact our success.
