Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Motor Coach driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, safety protocols, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Experience in various driving capacities such as paratransit, shuttle driving, or limousine services is highly valued. Responsibilities Safely operate motor coaches and other passenger vehicles, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide transportation services for passengers, including pick-up and drop-off at designated locations. Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by conducting regular inspections and performing basic mechanical checks. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes in plans. Document daily activities, including mileage and any incidents that may occur during transit. Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure efficient operations. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in bus driving or motor coach operation is preferred. Ability to communicate fluently in English; additional language skills are a plus. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles. Previous experience as a delivery driver, van driver, or in shuttle driving is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on passenger safety and satisfaction. Must pass background checks and adhere to company policies regarding safety and conduct.
