Van Driver Complete Care at the Boulevard Chicago, IL Job Details Full-time 10 hours ago Qualifications Computer literacy Full Job Description Van Driver - Complete Care at Boulevard (Chicago, IL) Position Summary The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of residents to and from the facility, ensuring all safety protocols and traffic laws are strictly followed. This role involves assisting residents with transfers, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and supporting facility operations through supply management. We seek an individual committed to fostering an environment of extraordinary compassion and a family-like culture for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities Safe Transportation:
Operate center vehicles safely, obeying all traffic laws and ensuring vehicles are clean and well-maintained.
Resident Assistance:
Partner with nursing and rehab staff to assist residents with vehicle transfers using appropriate lifting devices.
Operational Support:
Report vehicle concerns to Maintenance/Administration and assist with stocking medical supplies as needed.
Safety & Compliance:
Promptly report all incidents, grievances, or suspected resident abuse. Adhere to infection control, HIPAA confidentiality, and emergency preparedness protocols.
Professionalism:
Maintain a positive, patient attitude when interacting with residents, families, and staff in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications License:
Valid, unencumbered state driver's license.
Experience:
Prior long-term care driving experience preferred; 1-2 years of general transportation experience preferred. CNA experience is preferred but not required.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Skills:
