Employee discounts Job description: -Weekend availability required- The Hilton Garden Inn Chicago North Shore / Evanston is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our hospitality team. The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for transporting guests to and from designated locations, assisting with luggage, and providing a welcoming experience. This role plays a key part in creating a positive first and last impression of the hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving, customer service, and working in a team-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Transport hotel guests to local destinations such as airports, restaurants, and offices. Provide a warm and friendly greeting to all guests. Assist guests with luggage loading and unloading. Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable vehicle at all times. Follow proper driving safety procedures and all local traffic laws. Monitor shuttle schedule and communicate with front desk regarding guest needs. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Report any vehicle maintenance needs or incidents immediately. Support other departments as needed to ensure guest satisfaction. Follow all Hilton brand standards and safety/security procedures. Qualifications Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record. 2+ years of professional driving experience preferred. Must be 21 years or older (age may vary by insurance requirements). Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift luggage up to 50 lbs. Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible with working hours (including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays). Knowledge of the local Evanston/Chicago area is a plus.
