Van Driver

We're seeking a reliable and compassionate Van Driver to join our team, playing a vital role in the safe and efficient transportation of patients to medical appointments and activities.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate assigned motor vehicles to ensure timely and efficient transportation of patients Develop strong relationships with patients and residents, providing exceptional care and support Assist ambulatory and non-ambulatory individuals enter and leave the vehicle, ensuring their safety and well-being Monitor and maintain the vehicle's condition, reporting any issues or concerns to supervisory personnel Record and document each bus trip, including passenger attendance, mileage, and time Perform basic maintenance functions, including checking lights, fluid levels, and tire pressure

Qualifications and Skills:

Certified Nurse Aide Basic knowledge of methods and techniques used to load, secure, and unload passengers from a motor vehicle Skill in the operation and basic maintenance of assigned motor vehicle Ability to follow oral/written instructions, keep accurate records, and establish effective working relationships Ability to lift, maneuver, and support materials up to 80 pounds Possession of a valid driver's license 6-12 months of work experience operating, loading, and unloading a motor vehicle
