In this energetic role, you will operate passenger vehicles, including vans and shuttle buses, to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. Your dedication to excellent customer service and adherence to safety standards will ensure a positive experience for every passenger. Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttle buses, or personal vehicles to transport clients on scheduled routes or as needed. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including traffic laws and safety standards. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support for those with mobility challenges or special needs. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure optimal operation and safety. Use GPS navigation systems to follow designated routes efficiently while adapting to traffic conditions. Communicate professionally with clients, care coordinators, and dispatchers to confirm schedules and address any concerns. Perform heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading mobility aids or luggage while adhering to proper manual handling techniques. Qualifications Previous experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur is highly preferred. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for larger passenger vehicles). Experience operating passenger vans or medical transportation vehicles is a strong plus. Knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to ensure timely arrivals. Familiarity with state transportation regulations and safety protocols related to passenger vehicle operation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and lift heavy objects when required. Strong driving record demonstrating adherence to traffic regulations and safe driving practices. Reliable communication skills for client interaction and coordination with team members. Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 40.0 per week
