Job Description

Hyatt Regency Lexington is seeking friendly, dependable, and energetic team members to join our Valet & Transportation team . This position is much more than parking cars. Our Valet & Shuttle Drivers are often the first and last impression of the hotel , welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, providing valet service, and transporting hotel guests and airline crews throughout Lexington. What You'll Do Welcome arriving guests and provide friendly, professional service from the moment they arrive Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles Drive hotel shuttle vans transporting guests and airline crew members to and from Blue Grass Airport and other approved destinations Assist arriving and departing guests with luggage when needed Help guests with directions, transportation questions, and recommendations throughout downtown Lexington Maintain an organized and efficient valet operation during busy arrival and departure periods Coordinate with the Front Desk and other hotel departments to respond to guest needs Keep hotel shuttle vans, the valet office, and the hotel entrance clean and presentable Process valet transactions and follow established cash-handling procedures Maintain a professional, welcoming presence at the hotel entrance Assist with other guest-service responsibilities as needed Our downtown location can become especially busy during conventions, concerts, sold-out weekends, weddings, and University of Kentucky sporting events , so teamwork and the ability to stay organized under pressure are important. Schedule We are primarily looking for team members available for evening shifts , typically: 4:00/5:00 PM - 12:00/1:00 AM Weekend availability is important. Scheduling may vary based on hotel occupancy, events, and business needs. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Must be comfortable safely operating a variety of passenger vehicles and hotel shuttle vans Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable Strong communication and customer-service skills Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests Ability to remain calm and organized during high-volume periods Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and assist with guest luggage Must be available to work nights and weekends. Previous valet, transportation, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required What We Offer $12-14.00/hour starting pay + tips This position provides opportunities to earn additional income through guest tips, particularly during high-volume hotel periods and major downtown events. They're comfortable talking with guests, take pride in providing great service, work well with a team, and don't mind spending most of their shift on their feet.

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
