Job Description

Salary is negotiable Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual for the position of Van Driver/ Administrative Assistant. This role involves providing exceptional transportation services while ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers. They will be responsible for picking up patients and taking them home from the IOP. They will also be responsible for providing general administrative and clerical support duties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various driving capacities, including shuttle driving, delivery driving, and commercial driving. Excellent customer service skills and effective communication are essential to succeed in this position. Duties Providing general administrative and clerical support duties to include but not limited to: mailing, scanning, faxing and copying. Update and email outpatient census daily Safely operate vehicles for patient transportation. Ensure timely arrival and departure for all scheduled routes. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking. Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle through regular inspections and maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and passenger needs. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger safety. Perform heavy lifting as required for assisting passengers with mobility needs. Experience Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driver roles, or commercial driving is preferred. Previous experience in limousine services or paratransit is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Ability to perform maintenance tasks on vehicles as needed. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
