Duties Safely operate a variety of vehicles including vans, passenger vans, shuttle buses, limousines, and medical transport vehicles across designated local routes. Deliver goods, packages, or passengers efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Communicate effectively with clients and dispatchers to confirm schedules, delivery details, and address any route changes or issues. Assist with loading and unloading cargo or luggage, ensuring proper handling and heavy lifting techniques are followed. Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records. Provide excellent customer service by greeting passengers professionally and addressing their needs courteously during transport. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driver role such as bus driving, chauffeur driving, shuttle driving, or limousine service. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating passenger vehicles and commercial licenses preferred. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and local driving routes to optimize efficiency. Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards related to passenger and cargo transportation. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading cargo. Strong communication skills for client interaction and coordination with dispatch teams. Experience with vehicle maintenance routines and basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
