Job Description

National Ambulance wants you to be a part of our rapidly growing family oriented company that provides ambulance & stretcher van services to Greater Springfield. We are looking for a self-motivated individual that is willing to work with patients that have disabilities and require medical transportation. National Ambulance Stretcher Van Operators operate a stretcher equipped Stretcher Vans. Providing door to door medical transportation services to our bed confined patients that require the use of stretchers and handicap services to our wheelchair bound patients by bringing them to and from doctor's appointments and medical procedures.

Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear; must be able to manipulate and reach objects, tools, or controls. Performance of the essential functions may also require employee to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. On occasion will be required to lift/move objects that may weigh up to 175 pounds. Physical agility required accessing all areas of sites and buildings, and traversing uneven terrain. Vision and hearing at or correctable to normal ranges. Must be able to detect odors.

Able to speak and read English Must be 18 years old Must be able to lift patient handling equipment with assistance Driver's License for at least 1 year
