Van Monitors:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist van driver in assuring seat belts, harnesses and wheel chair clamps are secured as required Consult with and assist van driver in documentation of student information and recordkeeping Assist the van driver in maintaining discipline on school van; monitor and assist students while bus is in operation Assist with safe loading, unloading and seating arrangement of students as required

Requirements:

5 Hours per school day - School Year Only (with possible summer work) Experience with special needs students preferred Perform other duties as requested by the Transportation Supervisor Rate of pay:$17.50/

Qualifications:

MUST HOLD A 7D LICENSE ISSUED BY THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS

Responsibility:

Van drivers will be directly responsible to the Transportation Supervisor Specific duties: Perform daily vehicle inspections Transport students to and from school Implement safe driving procedures in adherence with state and local regulations Maintain appropriate documentation of irregularities including student incident reports, accident reports and inspection logs Perform other duties as requested by the
