Job Description

Go Time Transportation is a reputable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) company based in Tewksbury, MA. We're dedicated to providing safe and compassionate transportation services for individuals with medical needs throughout northeastern Massachusetts. Our commitment is to ensure the comfort, care, and dignity of our passengers during their journeys to medical appointments and essential destinations. Position Overview We are seeking Chair Van Operators to join our compassionate and dedicated team. Chair Van Operators play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable transportation of passengers with mobility challenges. If you are a compassionate and responsible individual with excellent driving skills, this position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Passenger Assistance Safely assist passengers with mobility challenges in boarding and disembarking from the chair van. Ensure passengers are comfortably seated and secure during transport. Provide courteous and compassionate customer service at all times. 2. Safe Transportation Operate the chair van in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van's safety and functionality. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle. 3. Schedule Adherence Follow the provided transport schedule to ensure on-time pickups and drop-offs of passengers. Communicate effectively with dispatch to confirm and update schedules as needed. 4. Communication and Documentation Complete vehicle inspections, incident reports, and any required documentation accurately and promptly. Maintain clear and professional communication with passengers and their caregivers. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Compassionate and patient demeanor, particularly when assisting passengers with mobility challenges. Excellent communication skills. Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. Previous experience in transportation or caregiving is advantageous. Benefits Competitive hourly wage starting at $20.00/hr. Full benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
