This role involves operating a passenger van along designated local routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to adhering to traffic and safety regulations. Duties Safely operate shuttle vehicles along local routes, ensuring punctuality and reliability. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing friendly and professional customer service at all times. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, checking for maintenance issues and ensuring cleanliness. Communicate effectively with Front Desk Agents, guests, and managers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols during every trip. Handle manual tasks such as loading/unloading luggage or assisting with passenger needs as required. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur is highly preferred. Familiarity with local driving routes is essential. Experience operating passenger vans, medical transportation vehicles, or similar passenger vehicles is advantageous. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines to ensure safety and reliability on the road. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting when necessary. Valid driver's license in accordance with state transportation regulations.
