Job Description

DTS Worldwide Transportation - Burtonsville, Maryland Job Overview DTS Worldwide Transportation is seeking professional, safety-focused Chauffeurs to join our team. DTS provides executive, corporate, airport, hotel, event, charter, and private transportation throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area and beyond. At DTS, a Chauffeur is more than a driver. Our Chauffeurs are responsible for providing a safe, reliable, professional, and hospitality-focused experience from the beginning of an assignment through its completion. Qualified Chauffeurs may operate luxury sedans, SUVs, passenger vans, Sprinters, limousines, and other non-CDL passenger vehicles. Primary Responsibilities Safely transport passengers according to assigned reservations and itineraries. Arrive on time, properly rested, prepared for the assignment, and in full DTS chauffeur uniform. Review trip details, passenger information, flight information, pickup locations, and special instructions before service. Provide exceptional hospitality and professional customer service. Assist passengers with luggage, doors, boarding, and other reasonable transportation needs. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Immediately report vehicle defects, warning lights, damage, accidents, or safety concerns. Maintain communication with DTS Dispatch throughout assignments. Accurately update trip status using DTS chauffeur/dispatch technology. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professional presentation throughout the assignment. Properly fuel and prepare vehicles for subsequent assignments. Follow DTS airport, safety, vehicle, customer-service, and operational procedures. Maintain discretion and confidentiality when transporting executives, VIPs, athletes, celebrities, government personnel, and other clients.
Qualifications Applicants should possess:
Valid driver's license. Acceptable motor vehicle record. Current DOT Medical Card when required for the service performed. Maryland PSC qualification/license preferred; otherwise, ability to satisfy applicable requirements and obtain required authorization before performing regulated service. Professional appearance and demeanor. Strong hospitality and customer-service skills. Ability to safely handle passenger luggage and perform the normal physical functions associated with chauffeur service. Ability to use smartphones, tablets, navigation systems, and DTS chauffeur applications. Ability to read and follow detailed itineraries and instructions. Strong verbal communication skills. Reliable transportation to and from DTS's Burtonsville facility when required. Knowledge of Washington, DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, BWI, DCA, and IAD is strongly preferred. Previous professional chauffeur, executive transportation, limousine, black-car, hotel transportation, or similar passenger-service experience is preferred. Schedule & Availability Professional chauffeured transportation operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Applicants must have flexibility to work assignments that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, airport transfers, hourly service, sporting events, concerts, weddings, corporate events, and other special events. Schedules and trip durations may change based upon customer and operational requirements.
