Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of vehicles including vans, passenger vans, limousines, shuttle buses, and personal delivery vehicles on designated local routes. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during every trip. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to guarantee safety and optimal performance. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous and professional customer service at all times. Manage GPS navigation systems effectively to follow the most efficient routes and meet delivery or pick-up schedules. Handle heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo or luggage, ensuring proper manual handling techniques are used. Communicate clearly with clients regarding schedules, delays, or route changes while maintaining a positive attitude. Qualifications Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to optimize efficiency. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and state transportation regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks related to vehicle loading/unloading. Prior experience in medical transportation or passenger van operation is a plus.
