Our Shuttle Drivers do much more than get guests from Point A to Point B. WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Hotel Shuttle Driver, you'll help our guests get where they need to go safely, comfortably, and on time.

You'll:

Safely operate the hotel's passenger shuttle while following all traffic laws and hotel safety procedures Transport guests to and from the airport and other designated locations Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Assist guests with luggage and with entering or exiting the shuttle when needed Provide helpful information about the hotel and local area Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready shuttle Complete routine vehicle checks and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns Communicate with the Front Desk and other hotel team members regarding pickups, drop-offs, delays, and guest needs Keep scheduled transportation running safely and on time Represent Hampton Inn & Suites professionally whenever you're behind the wheel or interacting with guests Assist with other reasonable guest service needs when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a valid driver's license and meet the hotel's driving-record requirements Safe and responsible driving history required Previous shuttle, delivery, transportation, commercial driving, or professional driving experience is preferred, but not required Familiarity with Houghton and the surrounding area is helpful Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Ability to safely lift and handle guest luggage and other items as needed Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on transportation needs

SCHEDULE

This is a flexible part-time position , and hours may vary from month to month based on hotel and guest transportation needs. Most shifts occur in shorter blocks rather than traditional eight-hour shifts.

Typical transportation times include:

Early mornings: approximately 5:00-9:00 AM Late afternoons/early evenings: approximately 1:00-5:00 PM Late evenings: after 10:00 PM Many shifts may be approximately two hours at a time , making this a good fit for someone looking for supplemental income or flexible work that can fit around other commitments. Because our hotel operates seven days a week, some weekend and holiday availability is required.
