Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Independent Contractor Driver, where your driving expertise and customer service skills will keep our clients satisfied. This is an
INDEPENDENT DELIVERY DRIVER
ROLE, to provide reliable delivery services across local routes. Your proactive approach to vehicle maintenance, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent communication will ensure a seamless experience for every client. This position offers flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to be a vital part of a transportation network that values safety and professionalism. Duties Provide exceptional customer service by delivering undamaged products purchased by our consumers in a timely manner. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation; conduct basic maintenance checks including fluid levels, tire pressure, and brake function. Use GPS navigation systems to follow efficient routes, ensuring timely drop-offs while adjusting for traffic conditions. Communicate effectively with clients regarding schedules, route changes, or delays; handle client concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Assist with heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo or luggage; ensure secure placement within the vehicle for safety during transit. Comply with all state transportation regulations and safety protocols related to passenger vehicle operation and medical transportation if applicable. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or shuttle driver with a strong focus on safety and customer service. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated; clean driving record required. Must have a cargo van. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes; ability to adapt quickly to changing traffic conditions. Knowledge of traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety standards for cargo vans. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of cargo when necessary. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members; professional demeanor required. Pay:
