STARTING PAY RANGE
for this role IS $25- $30 PER
HOUR AND COULD INCREASE FROM THERE DEPENDENT UPON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD. PLEASE NOTE
ALL Snow positions are season but could transition to Green season work if there is an open position and the candidate is interested.

roles. This is NOT an entry-level position. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience as a Snow Team / Landscaping Team Crew Leader/Foreman. Candidates with Heavy Equipment experience and MDARD licenses will move to the top of the Candidate list. Job Summary The Crew Leader / Driver executes site-level tasks on BrightView's client sites. This position directs the work of 2-5 (or more) other team members and ensures assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards set by BrightView and BrightView's clients. The Crew Leader Driver oversees crews working in varying service lines, including snow management and basic maintenanc e , but could also be tasked with assisting in these activities: landscape installation, and supportive services like irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications. Minimum Requirements Valid driver's license required without restrictions and at least 10 years of clean driving record. A Chauffeur's License/Endorsement is required for this role. Preference will be given to candidates who already possess one. Candidates willing to obtain the required license at their own expense prior to their start date will also be considered. Minimum of 1 year of Snow Season/Landscaping Season Crew Leader experience required. The ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card. Candidates must be able to pass a DOT medical examination, including a drug test, within 48 hours of an offer being extended and before employment begins. Preferred Qualifications Current Michigan (MDARD) Pesticide Licenses, with the willingness to maintain existing licenses and obtain additional certifications as needed at company expense. Irrigation experience, including troubleshooting, repairs, spring start-ups, and fall winterizations, with the ability to assist as needed. Hardscape experience. Heavy Equipment Experience.

What you'll do: Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met Surface customer problems or concerns and report back to Production Manager Proactively assist in resolving issues with customer service when needed Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies Communicate regularly with Production Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded Deliver services as specified on client sites Work to identify more efficient ways to perform work Coordinate service execution with Production Manager Oversee day to day site operations and delegate work to crew team members Provide Production Manager feedback on crew member(s) Working with Production Manager, help to develop and train crew members Ensure equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working order Participate in branch meetings as directed Accurately capture and turn in crew time logs Log equipment usage and maintenance cycles Other tasks and duties as assigned by
Branch Leadership Education and Experience:
BrightView Equipment certifications Experience in a landscape-related field Demonstrated leadership among the team and with peers
Valid Driver License Physical Demands/Requirements:
Be at least 21 as you will be responsible for operating company provided vehicles. Possess strong stamina and have the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold. Able to safely operate landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers). Able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stand, walk continuously throughout the day and perform repetitive motions for extended periods. Able to perform manual labor using a variety of hand tools (e.g. shovels, rakes) You are able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes, high-visibility clothing, hand protection, eye protection, hearing protection, head protection) Landscapers who will be operating a BrightView fleet vehicle are required to have a valid driver's license and meet company standards as it relates motor vehicle performance identified on a state issued motor vehicle record check. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed. Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.) Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.) Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur.
Work Environment:
Ability to work outdoors/indoors in moderate to extreme weather conditions (e.g., temperatures more than 100°F, t emperatures below 32°F, various levels of humidity) Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time or the ability to work Overnight as needed. Work outdoors near automotive traffic, bodies of water, fumes, dust, mechanical and/or electrical hazards. Ability to work in environments where extended periods of loud noise are present. Ability to work in environments where exposure to allergens such as pollen and rag weed, insects such as bees and spiders and reptiles such as lizards and snakes.
