Job Description
Quail Run is a small skilled nursing facility. We provide care to a geriatric population that needs assistance with appointment transportation, this position will also serve as a Maintenace position assisting with building repairs. We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused person to join our team. As a Van driver, you will be responsible for providing transportation services to our clients in a safe and efficient manner. Building Maintenace under the direct supervion of Maintenace manager. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and enjoy working with people, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a vehicle to transport clients to their desired destinations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience
- Assist clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Facilitate small repairs
- Painting
- Move furniture
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a Paratransit, Delivery, or Shuttle driver is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
