A family-owned Food Distributor in Hudson County, in the Kearny, NJ area, which delivers cheese products to eateries in Manhattan, Long Island and New Jersey since the 1990's. Overview A family-owned Food Distributor in Hudson County is seeking a professional, energetic, and responsible person for the position of part-time or full-time van driver. No Weekends! Applicants must be customer service oriented and be willing to learn all aspects of the job. Working hours are approximately 3:30am start time for some days. (7 to 10hr day) Delivered products weigh between 6lbs and 45lbs. Deliveries are made to Deli's, Pizzerias and markets with our companies' refrigerated vans. Willingness to work in warehouse when needed. Qualifications 1. Valid, Clean Driver's License. 2. Speak, read, and write English (Spanish a Plus). 3. Some Knowledge of NYC (Manhattan) streets without a GPS. 4. Understanding how to read the Parking Signs in Manhattan. 5. 2-year van driving experience a plus. 6. Great work ethic. 7.
