Description:
WILO NJ is looking for a dependable, team focused Van Driver to provide safe and caring transportation services. This role offers a meaningful way to support individuals and families in our community. Join us in making a daily impact through compassionate service. Responsibilities Ensure Resident safety and wellbeing while driving at all times. Problem-solve to ensure that logistics between schedule and transportation are complete and without conflict. Ability to adapt to changes in the driving schedule. Maintain a code of conduct for transportation that is aligned with Agency standards. Flexibility with scheduling and support of WILO NJ's operational needs during day program closures. Promote a positive employee culture, engagement, and teamwork within the WILO NJ team. Complete documentation relative to transportation as needed. Give medication to Residents when needed in any emergency. Demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve emergency situations, and deal effectively with behavioral problems that could jeopardize the safety of the Residents. Maintain compliance with Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) policies and WILO NJ procedures. Qualifications A High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read and write English Proficient computer skills Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Requirements:
Valid New Jersey State Driver's License and clean driving record Must have reliable transportation Proof of Auto Insurance and Vehicle Registration Successful completion of Background/Fingerprint check and Drug testing Physical and TB test Child Abuse Record Information (CARI) Check Medicaid Exclusion Check Benefits Competitive pay.
