Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Per Diem Driver to join our transportation team. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to provide essential transportation services across various local routes. As a Per Diem Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating passenger vehicles, including vans, shuttles, and other client-specific vehicles, ensuring timely and courteous service to passengers. Your role is vital in maintaining smooth operations, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttles, or Valet vehicles for transportation services. Follow designated routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely arrivals and departures. Assist passengers while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during every trip. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and operational readiness. Communicate effectively with clients regarding schedules, routes, or delays to provide excellent customer service. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance needs. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or in similar passenger vehicle operation roles. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for buses or limousines). Experience with GPS navigation systems and local driving routes. Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as assisting passengers with mobility challenges. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and state transportation regulations. Strong communication skills for client interaction and coordination with dispatch teams. Ability to operate different types of passenger vehicles including vans and shuttle buses safely and professionally. Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
