Job Description

We are seeking a Part Time Hotel Shuttle Driver for our hotel with 200 guestrooms, 30,000 sq ft of meeting space, two full-service restaurants, and a cafe. Perks Employee Referral Program We are seeking a reliable, courteous, and safety-conscious Shuttle Driver to transport guests to and from designated locations in a timely and professional manner. As a representative of the hotel, the Shuttle Driver plays a key role in providing a positive first and last impression for our guests and must demonstrate exceptional customer service at all times. Roles and Responsibilities:
This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an employee in this position may be asked to perform from time to time. Safely operate the hotel shuttle vehicle to transport guests to and from the airport, local attractions, business centers, or other scheduled destinations. Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all guests and assist with loading/unloading luggage as needed. Maintain a clean, well-kept shuttle vehicle inside and out. Ensure the shuttle is fueled and maintained according to the hotel's vehicle maintenance schedule. Adhere to all traffic laws and hotel driving policies, ensuring guest safety is the top priority. Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, answering questions and providing directions or local recommendations. Monitor scheduled pick-up and drop-off times to maintain punctual service. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any vehicle issues to management immediately. Log mileage, fuel usage, and service intervals as directed. Assist other hotel departments when not driving, such as supporting bell staff or front desk as needed. Report any guest feedback, incidents, or complaints to the appropriate hotel staff or management. Maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with the hotel's grooming standards. Requirements:
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules ( including nights, holidays, and weekends ) to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record. Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred. Ability to lift, load, and carry luggage or guest items (up to 50 lbs.). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment:
Frequent driving in urban and/or high-traffic areas. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions during guest assistance or vehicle loading/unloading. Periods of sitting, standing, and physical activity including lifting luggage. Friendwell Managed Hotels function twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. As a part of the hospitality industry a hospitable service atmosphere must be maintained at all times. All employees are required to project a friendly, welcoming, and positive attitude.
