Hotel Shuttle Driver DoubleTree by Hilton Syracuse - 3.6 East Syracuse, NY Job Details Full-time $16 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description The beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton Syracuse has a full-time Bellperson / Shuttle Driver opening for our 250 room upscale hotel. As a Bellperson / Shuttle Driver, you would be responsible for greeting guests, assisting with luggage delivery, general maintenance of property, and driving guests to and from authorized destinations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Drive property-designated vehicles to and from guest destinations including, but not limited to, local airports, client businesses, and regional transportation centers. Greet arriving and departing guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner Assist guests with luggage Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner Safely transport guests using the hotel shuttle. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle vehicle. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns. Follow all traffic laws and hotel safety policies. Provide guests with information about the hotel and local area as needed. Perform front office and maintenance tasks to ensure a welcoming environment for all guests. The preferred candidate will meet the following qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. Previous shuttle, commercial, or hospitality driving experience is preferred.
