Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck state to state transportation regulations. Execute timely deliveries of goods or personal items while adhering to designated routes and schedules. Transport passengers safely and courteously, ensuring a positive experience for clients during each trip. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems and other navigation tools to optimize routes and meet delivery or pickup deadlines. Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any unforeseen issues. Assist with heavy lifting or manual handling when loading or unloading cargo or luggage, maintaining safety standards at all times. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, bus driver, limousine chauffeur, or similar role involving passenger or cargo transportation. Strong knowledge of GPS navigation systems and local driving routes to ensure efficient travel. Familiarity with state transportation regulations and safety standards for passenger vehicles and commercial driving licenses. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading processes. Experience in medical transportation or client-specific delivery services is a plus. Good maintenance awareness to identify vehicle issues early and perform basic upkeep tasks confidently.
