In this role, you will be the bridge between our clients' homes and the community, ensuring they start their day safely and remain actively engaged throughout it. You will be responsible for safe morning and afternoon transit, while spending your midday hours facilitating activities and support services. The shift for this position is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday). Duties Safely operate standard passenger vehicles to transport clients to and from program activities, appointments, and community outings Assist participants with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support Support clients during program activities by encouraging participation, managing behavior, and promoting positive social interactions Collect data on client progress and activity participation to inform individualized plans and reports Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times Communicate effectively with clients, families, team members, and community partners to coordinate care and share updates Support clients with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities in a respectful and empowering manner Requirements Knowledge of behavior management techniques and experience supporting behavioral health needs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating standard passenger cars required Ability to assist clients with mobility challenges and ADLs in a compassionate manner Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in social services environments highly desirable This role is perfect for caring individuals eager to support community integration while developing their skills in caregiving, transportation, and client engagement.
