Responsibilities Safely operate different types of vehicles such as passenger vans, shuttle buses, limousines, and delivery vans across local routes. Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of passengers or goods while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. Use GPS navigation systems to follow designated routes efficiently and adapt to real-time traffic conditions. Assist with loading and unloading cargo or luggage, including heavy lifting when necessary, while following proper manual handling procedures. Communicate effectively with clients or passengers to confirm schedules, address inquiries, and provide excellent customer service. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation; report any maintenance issues promptly. Comply with all state transportation regulations, traffic laws, and company policies to guarantee safety for yourself and others. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, chauffeur, or in similar passenger or cargo transportation roles. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type; Strong knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes. Experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttles, or medical transportation vehicles. Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations and safety standards at all times. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early. Prior experience in client communication or customer service roles is highly desirable.
