Overview We are seeking a dependable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong driving background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles safely and efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the well-being of our community by ensuring timely and safe transportation for our clients. Duties Safely operate shuttle buses, limousines, school buses, or other commercial vehicles to transport clients, staff, and supplies. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and addressing their transportation needs courteously. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure safety and operational readiness. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every trip. Assist with heavy lifting when loading or unloading supplies or equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, bus driver, or in a similar commercial driving role. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for large vehicles). Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading supplies or assisting passengers. Experience in paratransit services or school bus driving is preferred but not mandatory. A clean driving record with no history of serious violations or accidents.
