As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations while ensuring a pleasant experience throughout the journey. Responsibilities Safely operate a taxi vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and regulations. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs, including luggage handling and route information. Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, time, and fare collection. Ensure the taxi is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order before and after each shift. Navigate efficiently through city streets using GPS or maps to optimize routes. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and passenger care. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding pick-up locations and any issues that may arise during trips. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a taxi driver, delivery driver, bus driver, or in paratransit services is highly desirable. Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse passengers. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
