Job Summary We are seeking a professional and reliable Taxi Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, excellent customer service skills, and experience operating various types of vehicles such as limousines, buses, or paratransit vehicles. This role involves navigating city streets and highways to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate taxis, limousines, buses, or paratransit vehicles to transport passengers to their destinations. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those with mobility challenges. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger safety. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and helpful during each ride. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fare transactions. Plan routes efficiently to minimize travel time and fuel consumption. Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver experience preferred. Experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, bus driving, limousine services, or paratransit operations is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of local streets, traffic laws, and safety regulations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to operate various vehicle types safely and responsibly. Must pass background checks and any required licensing or certification requirements for commercial driving roles. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required.
