Medi-Trans Group is an equal opportunity employer which is constantly seeking hard-working, dependable and honest employees to add to our team. We currently have openings for a wheelchair van driver to transport the community in the local vicinity.
Primary Responsibilities:
Transport patients in a safe manner to and from destinations on time by following a transportation schedule. Safely and efficiently operate a van to transport passengers Communicate with passengers or customers in a friendly and professional manner Provide excellent customer service, ensuring passenger safety, comfort and satisfaction Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company van at all times Complete necessary paperwork or documentation for each trip or delivery
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must have a clean background Previous experience as a van driver, shuttle driver, delivery driver, bus driver, limousine driver, or paratransit driver is preferred Must be willing to drive in the local vicinity and surrounding areas. Must be willing to able to push 100+ pounds on a wheelchair. Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and dispatchers Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times Excellent time management skills to ensure timely arrivals Must be dependable and able to arrive to pickups on time. Must have excellent communication skills Looking to hire immediately!
