Job Description

Position Summary The PM Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for hotel guests between the hotel and Pittsburgh International Airport, as well as other approved local destinations. This position serves as a key ambassador for the Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel by delivering exceptional guest service while maintaining the hotel's shuttle vehicle in a clean, safe, and presentable condition. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely transport guests to and from Pittsburgh International Airport and other designated local destinations. Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner while assisting with luggage. Provide guests with information about the hotel, local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options. Maintain accurate shuttle schedules and respond promptly to transportation requests. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues immediately. Keep the shuttle clean, fueled, and in excellent operating condition. Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies. Communicate effectively with the Front Desk regarding guest transportation needs and shuttle availability. Assist guests with directions, recommendations, and special requests whenever possible. Maintain daily shuttle logs, mileage records, fuel receipts, and incident reports as required. Support the Front Desk with guest services during slower periods, including delivering amenities, assisting with luggage, or other assigned duties. Ensure guest safety and satisfaction throughout every interaction. Respond professionally to emergencies or guest concerns. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous shuttle driving, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Must meet the hotel's insurance eligibility requirements for operating company vehicles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service orientation with a professional appearance. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist guests throughout the shift. Ability to sit and drive for extended periods. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Safe driving practices and defensive driving techniques. Familiarity with GPS navigation and the local Pittsburgh area is preferred. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Strong verbal communication and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Working Conditions Frequent driving in varying traffic and weather conditions. Regular interaction with hotel guests and airport personnel. Outdoor exposure while assisting guests with luggage and boarding. Fast-paced hospitality environment requiring flexibility and professionalism.
