POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Shuttle Driver at Nemacolin is responsible for maintaining the safety of all persons and other vehicles on the roadway. The driver will be expected to maintain their appearance and performance in accordance with Nemacolin standards. In essence, the Associate Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting associates in a safe and timely manner to their requested destinations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for this position.) Transport Associates to and from their destination (work and housing locations). Complete walk through of vehicle; log damage on log sheet and report to GTM Check vehicle's fluids and tires. Required to clean both exterior and interior of vehicles. Courteous communication on hand-held radios between dispatcher and other drivers. Must stay in a continuous loop throughout property Other Job duties assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
The candidate must possess strong interpersonal relationship skills and a valid driver's license. High school diploma is necessary. Have ability to take direction and be able to work under stressful situations. Must be flexible scheduling and be able to work evenings, days, holidays, and weekends. Possess excellent communication skills and have desire to work with other people in a team environment. Must be able to drive standard and automatic transmissions. Customer-service oriented. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to speak English.
